The European Union and Japan sign mutual recognition of Authorised Economic Operators

This mutual recognition increases the potential for secure trade between certified operators in Europe and Japan.

This means that two major trading partners, the EU and Japan, establish the equivalence of their AEOs programs and regualtions.

Which means that AEO-certified operators in Europe will recieve the same benefits in Japan as an AEO certified Japanese company may have in their country and vice versa
